In the year 1000 BBY the Ruusan Campaign had come to an end with a pyrrhic victory for the Army of Light over the Brotherhood of Darkness. In this alternate timeline the Ruusan Reformations are not honoured by the remaining Jedi Lords, deciding to retain their stations – accusing the Republic of failing the Outer Rim.

In an effort to stabilise the internal strife, the Republic receded further into the inner territories, cutting off all communications, orbital platforms & hyperspace lanes – abandoning the Expansion Region & beyond to fend for themselves.

Without a definitive foe to combat the Jedi Lords fall back into their feudal ways, some parting from the Army of Light to rule their planets & sectors on their own terms. Some retain connections to the Jedi Grand Council, or break away to form their own fiefdoms – while others silently fall to the dark side their forebears had died to eradicate from the galaxy disillusioned by the affairs of the galaxy.

In the year 980 BBY a great disturbance ripples across the Galaxy. Whispers that a Sith Lord by the name of Darth Bane had survived the eradication of the Dark Brotherhood on Ruusan all those years ago. Will the Jedi Lords band together once more? NARUTO: Converging Roots is an 18+ only SFW roleplay with custom lore behind it, diverging from the origin of Chakra. A God Tree sprouting nine fruit birthed nine Tailed Beasts bringing with them retribution unto the Earth. When they should have been treated as deities, they were instead treated like Kaiju, merciless and destructive, leaving ruin and havoc in their wake.

Many clans across the world rose up and fell in their wakes, seeking an end to such a hellish game of cat and mouse, ultimately bringing up the Uchiha and the Uzumaki. Under one banner, they created a throne split only by the rot of overambition, misunderstandings, and betrayal.

The Uchiha remained in the Land of Fire, establishing what is now Konoha. The Uzumaki fled to the Land of Water, founding Uzushiogakure alongside former residents of Kirigakure. High up in the clouds, there was a beautiful, prosperous kingdom ruled by a kind and benevolent queen. This kingdom had the help of powerful dragon that kept it's citizens safe and happy. Over time the kingdom would gain new leadership that would grow less kind to their citizens and would use the dragons powers selfishly. The kingdoms sages feared what their home was becoming and the dragons power so they decided to try and stop it. They took 8 stars and used them to absorb the dragons powers. The dragon then fell into a dreamless sleep, with the dragon asleep their kingdom unfortunately fell into despair and ruin. It's said that if all 8 stars are used the dragon can be awakened once again and the summoner will be able to use its power to usher in an era of peace. However if the one who summons the dragon is someone who lacks a courageous or pure heart they'll be corrupted by the dragons power and it will destroy everything. To prevent this from happening they scattered the 8 stars across the skies with the hopes that they would stay hidden forever.
