Our world of Cityscape is an urban, modern fantasy setting, where the majority of the space is a **mega** metropolis. In this urban sprawl you’ll get the chance to tell stories that traverse various sub genres: crime, slice of life, scifi supernatural, romance, paranormal, dark/gritty. Just to name a few.

Magic, a treasured gift present in about 35% of the world’s population. The innate ability to manipulate mana given at birth to produce a vast array of results, from trivializing tasks to manipulating the world itself. Mages were raised to hone their abilities, special care given to those with particularly potent magic, an academy created for the sole purpose of guiding mages in their craft. Magic was a heavily integrated part of the world, and despite only a third of the population having it, was a common occurrence in every facet of life.

That was the case until 8 years ago, when a powerful mage named Rose Arundell took the lives of tens of thousands, including her own, in front of the entire world.

The world plunged into fear and uncertainty. After so long with magic as a mainstay, people wondered if such a powerful, dangerous thing was worth its trouble. Animosity spurred between mages and non-mages alike, many fearing for their safety as a spike in magic related crime occurred following the tragedy. World powers collectively found a burning need to act, and thus the Inquisition was born. An establishment whose sole purpose was to apprehend evil mages.

Our story takes place in Gellan, the city Rose Arundell herself once called home. The Inquisition is strong here, but many Mages stand tall in their own claimed district of the city.

May 31st, 2014. As a party unrivaled by any other raged on throughout the night, the festivity was brought to a sudden end as all the attendees were lulled into an unwilling sleep. When they awoke, The Six Heroes of the Gigantomachy, a symbol of peace and victory to every living Demigod of this day and age, were dead. On June 7th, the last of the Giants rose from their prison to destroy Rome. The Hero, Chris Turner, unexpectedly turned rogue and led an army of monsters into battle, razing Camp Half-Blood to the ground. Ultimately, the Demigod world died that day... until the demigods awoke on June 1st... three weeks before the siege.

With the Wheel of Time compromised, the regressing Demigods fought valiantly in defense of their camps until the very end, where the final battle for the world's fate took place. Seven Heroes emerged from the aftermath, uniting the Demigod World under one banner to defend all that is Good and Divine.

Still, the final chapter of this story has yet to be recorded. Monsters and Myths still roam the lands, known and otherwise, wreaking havoc and heralding the dawn of a new age... One that wills its own set of fearless Heroes.

Marking such an occasion, the "Dragon’s Feast" was held in King's Landing, the biggest event in recent history to mark both prosperity & the coming birth of Princess Alysanne’s heir. However, tragedy struck proceeding the event as the King & Named Heir passed away, unravelling the line of succession with ill fortunes.

The Lord Hand has now mantled the leadership of the Seven Kingdoms, looking to establish his Regency Council to provide stability for the Realm. But many fear that the Hand of the King will use this opportunity to usurp power for himself & waging a religious war against the Old Gods.

All the while claimants to the Iron Throne now look to the vacant title, ready to move to take it by various motives & means. Welcome to Gensokyo a land of beasts, fairies, and all those other idiots~

An odd fantasy world with it's ups and downs, with silly antics but also seriously concerning diets. This interpretation Gensokyo is meant to be more of a balance between both the light hearted versions and darker versions of Gensokyo. There are meant to be the more light hearted game side of things- but there are also still the more grim implications and events that come with living in a land of yokai and gods, as well as having reality bending sages in the background. I want there to be freedom to compeltely explorer both sides of gensokyo (without going into shock value land for the darker aspect in parricular).

This server also aims to handle members and characters in equity- and do it's best not to prioritize anyone over another. Everyone in a server should held at equal value, imaginary internet power is no reason to think otherwise.

We also want to try and hold a balance of keeping to a consistent touhou cast (avoiding odd duplicate situations with aus), but also still allowing characters to be alterable in interesting and even more exotic ways from the original touhou cast. So perhaps you could have what is ussually considered an au character simoly be a canon (Just don't go too far into Undertale-land with like Reimu but she's Marisa or something).

Those who first wander across the old ruins and mossy torii don't often think much of it other than a beautiful sight in the ancient forest they stand. Some will even walk under it and around the collapsed shrine behind it, with nothing strange occurring. However, some others feel drawn towards the old gate, like some invisible string is gently tugging at their soul. Soon they find themselves stepping through the gate, and stepping into another world on the other side.

After stepping through the gate, the whole forest around them seems to come alive with glowing plants and luminescent bugs, and the once broken down building before them has now turned into a house for welcoming newcomers. Turning around, the old torii looks fresh and clean now, and not another soul is in sight. If they continue following down the path, they will eventually come across a small cliff, were a whole village and beautiful shrine stretches out before them in the valley below. Anyone who's made it this far without turning back knows deep down they've found a peaceful place.

RWBY Reunited is a new RP that is a canon divergent (An alternative take). On both the fall of Beacon academy & the attack on Haven Academy as while we're loosely staying on the path layout in the Mistral arc we're also taking bold yet exciting risks to tell our own original player driven storylines detached from the Canonical events. As we're looking for experienced roleplayers who are either semi detailed (a few sentences) to detailed (writing a paragraph or more.)

As you can be either a student whose first, second, third or even fourth year at a newly unveiled academy where you have the ability to create teams on a ooc level. A professor who also serves as a huntsman or huntress participating in missions or teaching classes on a wide variety of topics. To the more criminal or terroristic side of the rp by playing a villain who is connected to canonical Factions or your own custom made one too.

As you have the freedom to not only participate in events that help push the plot forward or develop your own character growth in smaller lesser scale arcs but also the ability to play from a wide range of canonical characters as we welcome anyone besides members of the RWDE community additionally too we're always looking for staff & are open to suggestions, feedback on how to improve the overall quality & experience of the server.
