As time passed, more and more were born with superhuman powers, from flaming hands to bird heads. Though none knew what to do with them, this changed.

Earth has become a comic book, of heroes and villains, might and tyranny; what was once a sign of a Good Samaritan has turned to a business, a mere occupation of society. The world has become a peaceful place, with villains skulking in the dark and out of sight, only able to eke out a living in the fringes of this vigilant world.

Or so it would seem...

The winds blow and the stagnant air must change. Those who view the status quo as a rotten construct, clutched tightly by the hands of only the few who benefit from it are stepping out from the shadow and into the light.
