Operation Stray-Dog is a character-driven roleplay server set within a sealed research facility slowly falling apart. The upper layers have become crowded, politicized, and tense. You're a mutant in earth-39641(not a real universe, made up for this server!) and have been struggling with your mutant powers for most of your life, or you are just now discovering them. Either way, Charles Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters is your home and you spend your time among the X-Men.

In this world, dark forces are brewing behind the scenes. Legislation regarding mutants is being passed, more often than not restricting their freedoms, and everyone has the mutant problem on their mind.

This server takes place in a universe/multiverse separate from any specific cannon. Its cannon is its own, though we will be pulling primarily from the films. Personally, I am very interested in exploring a world that functions much like the setting we see in "Logan" with a more grounded feel, though we will likely be pulling character backgrounds and histories from comics, other movies, etc to fill in blanks.

As for the timeline, this rp will be taking place during the beginning of the fall semester of 2015. Keep that in mind when filling out your character sheet, as well as when rping, since the culture and technology will be from about ten years ago.

We have plenty of things to offer!
