Fredrick Eckert's Academy of the Reborn was built for the safety of incarnations, the magic users of Earth. It was built to teach them how to control their magic and for them to understand the incarnations that came before them.
In this world, magic cannot be destroyed. Once it's within you it attaches to your very soul, and when you die it takes your soul with it. From there magic is reincarnated into the next person, although the souls attached to it won't always influence the reincarnation. And yet, society still often judges people for the actions of the incarnations that came before them.
Being an incarnation comes with expectations, comes with restricting roles like 'heroes' and 'villains'. It leaves no room for shades of grey or for an incarnation to live life like any other person. The academy strives to change that, and progress is already being made but not as quickly as many would hope.
The school was made to be a safe place, a place those expectations won't reach. However, even the academy can't protect everyone. Students have disappeared over the years, most never being found again. And now, more students are disappearing than ever before. Someone is targeting the school, and it may be up to both the students and the staff to find out who.

A place where everybody knows everybody and if you’re a stranger, you’re either a student or a criminal. History is rich in this little town and its boarding school is no different. Durham Hall is what put Pinegrove on the map! Sort of. It’s right on the coast and miles from the quaint little town. But, while Pinegrove looks charming, some kind of tension lurks among the residents. They seem to... stare... at you for a second too long. Judging. Suspicious. Almost as if they're sizing you up.... but, of course, that's crazy talk... right...?

We are a *NEW* period piece server that's set in the mid mod era—just after the civil rights movement; WITH plenty of changes, of course. We are a LIT community, no semi-lits or one-liners allowed around here, sorry! Our staff members are plenty active and so is our community. Speaking of this community, it's built off of our completely original storyline with plenty of opportunities for major plot relevant roles. We have character *freedom*, which is a rare commodity in servers that our staff members are used to. Our plot is mystery based! It's well thought out and only the owners *really* know the whole picture, so our staff can join in on the fun, too!
What's more is that we are a SFW server. As a roleplayer, I have been consistently frustrated with the lack of SFW servers in my age range. I wanted something of substance. Something that was much more than just surface level. Which is why I've started this server. Not only is it a safe space for those who crave SFW scenes, but it's also been in the works for the past two years, life has gotten in the way time and time again and now it's finally time for it to be open to the public. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
