Be it a student rising up to be the greatest huntsman of all time or a villain looking for their next score, no role is out of reach. The story is in its early stages, stirrings in Vale's shady underworld shaking the general perception of Vale's safety to its core. Grimm have managed to make it far too close to the city, seemingly all set in motion by no more than a few goons with some extra funding. Is someone pulling the strings, or will there be repeat offenses? With Vytal festivities underway and countless people flowing into the kingdom, there's no knowing for sure what will happen.

An uneasy peace has settled over the lands of Westeros. As King, Maegor Targaryen remains surrounded, facing challenges both within from his nephew Aegon the Uncrowned and without from the High Septon’s many pious followers who grow emboldened with the death of the dragons.

Although the Great Houses of Westeros still swear fealty to King Maegor, loyalties shift outside his watch. Maegor may count upon the Riverlands, who wish not for their rivers to run red, and the Vale may remember how Maegor defeated the kinslayer’s rebellion, but in the Reach the Faith grows stronger. It is unclear if House Tyrell can hold onto Highgarden against those who covet it.

The North and Iron Islands remain as isolated, both in a position wait out the fires of war or revel in chaos while the West and Stormlands may also break away for their own personal interests, avoiding a great war lest the Dornish or the Ironborn take advantage.

Beyond it all, Dorne stands strong, unbent and unbroken. It has the opportunity to take advantage of the chaos and watch the dragon fall, but if they overextend themselves they could be at the mercy of a greater evil.

Despite having been built in Fire and Blood, the realm seems to teeter on the precipice of chaos.

Ancient events gave Earth's residents the ability to cast spells and alterations to their very way of life, including physical changes. Watch yourself, however; dark truths lurk every few steps you take, and the richest among Rosemore's residents raise their wine glasses atop mass graves.

Rosemore is an 18+ community with an emphasis on character-building and literacy. In any given scene, writers are expected to write a paragraph **at minimum**, complete with punctuation and standards of grammar. Social channels are compact so as to help lessen overstimulation and better promote a melting pot within "the channel for all". Given the server's status as a 18+ community, writers are free to explore all kinks as it falls under the artistic expression laws.

As a setting, Rosemore aims for the "modern fantasy" feel. You can use elves, fairies, tieflings, centaurs, etc. as a faceclaim and tailor the character to how it all comes together within the setting. The server's combat system, much like the limits of magic, is built on balance and quick rounds rather than powergaming or needing to read pages of rules.

NOTE: We ID verify before you can submit a character. However, you have the opportunity to read the full setting and ask questions before you make that choice.

Alentia’s Sanctuary exists in a world almost entirely similar to modern day Earth. Though magic exists as part of nature and an accepted way of life for most people within the magical community, a population of several hundred million worldwide, the average nonmagical human (or ‘mortal’) finds virtually no deficit in their life for lack of magic.
The Sanctuary exists in a “pocket dimension”, or underground society, away from the public eye. It has been described as being “everywhere and nowhere at once”, and although this is not necessarily true, it is often considered the easiest way to describe it. Within the bounds of the Sanctuary, compasses and GPS systems meant for use outside of the Sanctuary cease to operate as they should, and there is no place on Earth the Sanctuary could possibly exist.

The magical culture within Alentia’s Sanctuary necessitates complete secrecy after the effects of a war centuries past, and those in power within this underground society do their best to keep things under complete wraps. In the last several hundred years in the mortal world, magic has been kept from mortals by way of the community’s Veil, an illusory covering of all magic that exists to hide magic from mortals, altering senses and memories to maintain the status quo of a nonmagical, unexceptional, world, place, and experience.

Our server takes place just a few weeks past the death of the Red Ring leader Shroud, killed by the Hands of Robert Robertson and after a more recent server event he's now publicly known as Mecha Man.
