Fredrick Eckert's Academy of the Reborn was built for the safety of incarnations, the magic users of Earth. It was built to teach them how to control their magic and for them to understand the incarnations that came before them.
In this world, magic cannot be destroyed. Once it's within you it attaches to your very soul, and when you die it takes your soul with it. From there magic is reincarnated into the next person, although the souls attached to it won't always influence the reincarnation. And yet, society still often judges people for the actions of the incarnations that came before them.
Being an incarnation comes with expectations, comes with restricting roles like 'heroes' and 'villains'. It leaves no room for shades of grey or for an incarnation to live life like any other person. The academy strives to change that, and progress is already being made but not as quickly as many would hope.
The school was made to be a safe place, a place those expectations won't reach. However, even the academy can't protect everyone. Students have disappeared over the years, most never being found again. And now, more students are disappearing than ever before. Someone is targeting the school, and it may be up to both the students and the staff to find out who.

Rosemore is an 18+ community with an emphasis on character-building and literacy. In any given scene, writers are expected to write a paragraph **at minimum**, complete with punctuation and standards of grammar. Social channels are compact so as to help lessen overstimulation and better promote a melting pot within "the channel for all". Given the server's status as a 18+ community, writers are free to explore all kinks as it falls under the artistic expression laws.
As a setting, Rosemore aims for the "modern fantasy" feel. You can use elves, fairies, tieflings, centaurs, etc. as a faceclaim and tailor the character to how it all comes together within the setting. What everyone knew of demon hierarchy is this, a fact unchanged by millennia: on top, the Demon King himself, Sages, Great Demons... But no one truly knows that before the Sages of Destruction were formed, there was another group of demons so terrifyingly powerful, Monarchs, that even the King himself feared them, as they showed potential to dethrone him and take his crown.
Unwilling to risk rivals, he waged a hidden war… which he won. However, they were too dangerous to be outright killed, so instead, he devised a cunning plan. In an attempt to silence them, he sealed them.
When the Hero Party struck down the Demon King, the world rejoiced – foolishly, full of hope, as humans tend to be – believing that the greatest threat of their age had been vanquished. Little did they know that, in his death, the magic that sustained the seals faltered, and exactly as he had planned, a Pandora Box was opened.

The innate ability to manipulate mana given at birth to produce a vast array of results, from trivializing tasks to manipulating the world itself. Mages were raised to hone their abilities, special care given to those with particularly potent magic, an academy created for the sole purpose of guiding mages in their craft. Magic was a heavily integrated part of the world, and despite only a third of the population having it, was a common occurrence in every facet of life.
That was the case until 8 years ago, when a powerful mage named Rose Arundell took the lives of tens of thousands, including her own, in front of the entire world.
The world plunged into fear and uncertainty. After so long with magic as a mainstay, people wondered if such a powerful, dangerous thing was worth its trouble. Animosity spurred between mages and non-mages alike, many fearing for their safety as a spike in magic related crime occurred following the tragedy. World powers collectively found a burning need to act, and thus the Inquisition was born. An establishment whose sole purpose was to apprehend evil mages.
Our story takes place in Gellan, the city Rose Arundell herself once called home. The Inquisition is strong here, but many Mages stand tall in their own claimed district of the city.

In the vast, medieval world of Zephyria, what was once a seemingly peaceful time, had been viciously uprooted as a new and dangerous species of creatures dubbed; Revenants invaded the world. Slaying millions, and creating widespread destruction.
In desperation the five emperors of the world united to form a defense against these creatures. Named; Aerilon Blackwood. A secret society composed of soldiers, mages, and even a few of the friendlier creatures who rebelled against their kind.
Many years later, the war on Revenants has been won, and that very taskforce now seeks to train and educate those who have been altered by the world's energy. Serving as a prestigious, yet secretive magical university. And while the main threat has been quenched, many dark secrets and untold possibilities remain within this world...

With three main factions to choose from (or even choose none if you want), here you can have pretty much any OC you could possibly want here, without the planet nuking power players getting in the way of your fun! With the main Nikko Highschool, you can be a student, teacher, or any other staff member. Or maybe be part of the Nous Corporation, a more tech focused Faction compared to the school. Perhaps you'd rather get up to some crime and mischief? Be part of the Warui Cult and it's ranks, a group of criminals are dark magic practicioners that feels a bit too much like a home. All of it can be done here!
