Note: This is NOT a Vampire the Masquerade RP, but one that was inspired by it along with a lot of other Vampire lore.

Plot Overview
There are more than just humans walking around within the major cities of the world. Beneath the mundane façade and lurking within shadow and darkness is the world of the Kindred. Several clans all exist in tandem beneath the rule of one leader over the area, a Prince.

We thrive in shadow and darkness, using our talents and abilities to keep our kind not only hidden, but alive. As we come into this new era, our Clan Leaders are being killed off one by one, weakening our race and jeopardizing the Masquerade. The deaths are so different in nature; its hard to know exactly what or who is behind the killings.

They even took our Prince.

Positions of power within the clans are left open with a need to be filled quickly so odor can be restored and the knowledge of our existence can continue to be hidden from the rest of the world.

Modern Necropolis is a dark fantasy char-faction rp (more focus on the character) in a world much like our modern world, set in the forbidden city of Anzenmex; where forbidden practices like necromancy reign.

Anyone who dies within the city's borders will come back to un-life due to the End of Death, a supposed artifact in the very center of the city that nobody has been able to find. This has seemingly made the city a hotbed for outcasts, psychos, devils and necromancers.

The city is primarily ran by a list of factions, all with their own goals and intentions!

- Factions you can join or make, which decides your spell list and resources!
- A city capable of fitting all the screwed up shit you want (within reason)
- A narrative attempt at a united magic system that feels like a magic system (and not individual superpowers, though we do allow those too, you creature!)

Two years after the end of World War 2, The Justice Society of America was founded. In October of the same year, The Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense struck a deal with the Justice Society. A portion of the team members would join the Bureau in their own branch for a large sum of money– enough to retire within the decade if they needed to. This branch was called Justice Society Dark, and became the first time superheroes were seen successfully working within a government-sanctioned agency– the start of a new era.

In the same year, mutants in New York faced more violent prejudice than in any other part of the world. To defend their people, a group of mutants began “The Institute for The Gifted” in Manhattan, a program that both housed scared mutants and taught them how to better understand their “gifts” as the Professor put it. The success of the Institute started the first mutant team, The X-Men, which despite the controversy showed that mutants weren’t just victims– but saviors of mankind.

Now the year is 2030, society has been shown an age of superheroes like they’ve never seen before. Villains are getting more powerful by the decade, there may be a day where they triumph over their foes…but only time will tell.
