ABOUT ALENTIA'S SANCTUARY...

Alentia’s Sanctuary exists in a world almost entirely similar to modern day Earth. Though magic exists as part of nature and an accepted way of life for most people within the magical community, a population of several hundred million worldwide, the average nonmagical human (or ‘mortal’) finds virtually no deficit in their life for lack of magic.
The Sanctuary exists in a “pocket dimension”, or underground society, away from the public eye. It has been described as being “everywhere and nowhere at once”, and although this is not necessarily true, it is often considered the easiest way to describe it. Within the bounds of the Sanctuary, compasses and GPS systems meant for use outside of the Sanctuary cease to operate as they should, and there is no place on Earth the Sanctuary could possibly exist.

The magical culture within Alentia’s Sanctuary necessitates complete secrecy after the effects of a war centuries past, and those in power within this underground society do their best to keep things under complete wraps. In the last several hundred years in the mortal world, magic has been kept from mortals by way of the community’s Veil, an illusory covering of all magic that exists to hide magic from mortals, altering senses and memories to maintain the status quo of a nonmagical, unexceptional, world, place, and experience.

This is a character-driven roleplay server with a harem-style theme, focused on storytelling, interaction, and creative RP scenarios. We’re a chill community that welcomes women, femboys, and anyone who fits the vibe and wants to participate in ongoing roleplay.
You’re free to roleplay in any setting you like—fantasy, modern, futuristic, or anything in between. Original characters (OCs) are fully welcome, and you can also play characters from any fandom if you prefer. There are basically no limits when it comes to worldbuilding, so go wild with creativity.
We use Tupperbox in the server, so you’re free to play multiple characters and switch roles easily. Creativity is highly encouraged, and there’s a lot of freedom in how you build and develop your characters.
The server is mostly open-ended and flexible, but we do have some basic boundaries—nothing overly extreme, uncomfortable, or disruptive to other members. Respect and communication are required at all times so everyone can enjoy the experience.
My own character is a bi switch femboy, and I’m actively part of the RP too, so I’ll be involved just like everyone else.

Humans have primarily fled into their glorious Monolithic Cities to escape the horrors created by their own hands. However, the Earth still turns, and she has healed from far worse catastrophes. In the shadow of one of these cities lay a stretch of land where eras-old mountains meet a brand new sea. There is no knowledge of clans, there is no belief of ancestors amongst the stars... Just a set of chaotic deities wanting to make the most of power-vacuum.

We are a *NEW* period piece server that's set in the mid mod era—just after the civil rights movement; WITH plenty of changes, of course. We are a LIT community, no semi-lits or one-liners allowed around here, sorry! Our staff members are plenty active and so is our community. Speaking of this community, it's built off of our completely original storyline with plenty of opportunities for major plot relevant roles. We have character *freedom*, which is a rare commodity in servers that our staff members are used to. Our plot is mystery based! It's well thought out and only the owners *really* know the whole picture, so our staff can join in on the fun, too!

What's more is that we are a SFW server. As a roleplayer, I have been consistently frustrated with the lack of SFW servers in my age range. I wanted something of substance. Something that was much more than just surface level. Which is why I've started this server. From countless wars to catastrophic disasters called "Catastrophes" forcing the common man into nomadic cities, one may wonder how civilization carried on to this day. Alas that is a tale for another day. With the advent of "Catastrophes", a mysterious ore called Originium sprouted from the damage it has caused. While we were able to harness the power, it came a cast like most things. A disease called "oripathy" has spreaded across due to our use of originium and has caused a great divide among the people. However, all hope is yet to be lost.

Follow Rhodes Island as they face the many challenges to find the cure to oripathy. Or perhaps you should join Reunion, a group fighting for the rights of the infected, people who oppressed because they have oripathy. However, what may seem like a noble cause may be just a mere façade that has yet to be revealed. With the retrieval of the 'Doctor' complete, this will mark the beginning of our long story.

1700 Tensions between nations have been forced into temporary stability due to the lethal shift of their world. The contamination zone. It's controlled in Zenoia, but that doesn't make it any less formidable. People who wander into the abyss are rarely the same. Infected people die within six months, or transform into monsters. Black ooze infects the waters, the land tainted by its corruption. For now, it's controlled. The possibility of it spreading is an unfortunate reality the nations must face.
