Our Story
The White Frost claimed the world, as the legendary healer and oracle Ithlinne Aegli Aep Aevenien foretold. For many this meant death, but those with knowledge of this prophecy knew what came after. Gates to new planes of existence were forced open and entire races fled the world before it was turned into a frozen hellscape. Time no longer mattered, there was no one to track it. Just as the end arrived, a new beginning followed. A year after the new sun races began to return, gnomes, dwarves, and humans. With the new sun came spring, new life, and a hopeful future. It's currently year one hundred and thirty-one, another conjunction of spheres has occurred, and with its arrival chaos and monsters. Races that hadn't been seen before became known, and new monstrosities became real.

After some growing pains and skirmishes, the Federation evolved into a territory of prosperity and equality.

The current era, set over 400 years later, is a time of high fantasy and religious upheaval, in which nations of Force faith are beginning to clash. The Galactic Federation rules over a galaxy that has been blessed with peace, and has become complacent. The New Jedi Order has grown adequately over the centuries, defending the peace and safety of the galaxy, but even they are not prepared to quell a galactic conflict. The Hutt Clans, once a great cartel, has their own kingdom and always expects the worst... and are about to be proven right. A war between Force Cult-ruled nations is brewing, between forces of the light, dark, and the insane Devotees of the Blight, who wish to kill everything and everyone. The city is broken into five sections, each neighborhood, separated by rivers that surround the heart of the city in the middle. Each neighborhood has its own personality, but also its own set of problems.

It should be a surprise to no one that the city is deeply corrupt and rotten to the core. Government officials are often being bought and paid for by a mysterious group of wealthy people, The Elite Front. The mayor is a puppet for this group and is often manipulated into pushing their agenda.

This server takes place in a universe/multiverse separate from any specific cannon. Its cannon is its own, though we will be pulling primarily from the films. Personally, I am very interested in exploring a world that functions much like the setting we see in "Logan" with a more grounded feel, though we will likely be pulling character backgrounds and histories from comics, other movies, etc to fill in blanks.

As for the timeline, this rp will be taking place during the beginning of the fall semester of 2015. Keep that in mind when filling out your character sheet, as well as when rping, since the culture and technology will be from about ten years ago.
