Each year the rains grow weaker and each year the sands claim more ground. The eldest lions sense what many refuse to admit, the land was changing. The most ancient prides have left their ancestral homes, leaving the territory unclaimed.

Rogue coalitions move in. New prides form. Old rivalries are reborn in blood.
The balance of power is unstable, but it is also rife with it opportunity.
