Modern Necropolis is a dark fantasy char-faction rp (more focus on the character) in a world much like our modern world, set in the forbidden city of Anzenmex; where forbidden practices like necromancy reign.
Anyone who dies within the city's borders will come back to un-life due to the End of Death, a supposed artifact in the very center of the city that nobody has been able to find. This has seemingly made the city a hotbed for outcasts, psychos, devils and necromancers.
The city is primarily ran by a list of factions, all with their own goals and intentions!
- Factions you can join or make, which decides your spell list and resources!
- A city capable of fitting all the screwed up shit you want (within reason)
- A narrative attempt at a united magic system that feels like a magic system (and not individual superpowers, though we do allow those too, you creature!)
- Allowances for descriptions of gore and graphic content!
- An Eroti- wait no. No ERP. That'd be weird given the context.
- A server with a world and traits based-on/inspired by/ripped-off-from works like Magnagothica Maleghast by Tom Bloom, The Locked Tomb series by Tamsyn Muir, The Principles of Necromancy from Magma Comix, the webcomics of Mayo-Nuguri, and probably more by our whims!

A portion of the team members would join the Bureau in their own branch for a large sum of money– enough to retire within the decade if they needed to. This branch was called Justice Society Dark, and became the first time superheroes were seen successfully working within a government-sanctioned agency– the start of a new era.
In the same year, mutants in New York faced more violent prejudice than in any other part of the world. To defend their people, a group of mutants began “The Institute for The Gifted” in Manhattan, a program that both housed scared mutants and taught them how to better understand their “gifts” as the Professor put it. The success of the Institute started the first mutant team, The X-Men, which despite the controversy showed that mutants weren’t just victims– but saviors of mankind.
Now the year is 2030, society has been shown an age of superheroes like they’ve never seen before. Villains are getting more powerful by the decade, there may be a day where they triumph over their foes…but only time will tell.

a Witcher-inspired RP server.
Our Story
The White Frost claimed the world, as the legendary healer and oracle Ithlinne Aegli Aep Aevenien foretold. For many this meant death, but those with knowledge of this prophecy knew what came after. Gates to new planes of existence were forced open and entire races fled the world before it was turned into a frozen hellscape. Time no longer mattered, there was no one to track it. Just as the end arrived, a new beginning followed. A year after the new sun races began to return, gnomes, dwarves, and humans. With the new sun came spring, new life, and a hopeful future. It's currently year one hundred and thirty-one, another conjunction of spheres has occurred, and with its arrival chaos and monsters. Races that hadn't been seen before became known, and new monstrosities became real.

- An AU world and storyline inspired by The Witcher universe.

The Federation of Vasturis struggles to hold itself together, and the world's wounds continue to seep unaided. The Eldritch have abandoned their worshippers, monsters roam the plane, and the only thing that stands in their way, is you.

Now, on the wild planet of Kairos, new Sirens are showing up left and right — and with them comes a whole buffet of chaos, violence, corporate greed, and bad decisions waiting to be made. The universe is dangling by a thread, and you get to be the one with the scissors.
Do you answer the Call? Or do you die screaming in a psycho’s meat grinder? (Hey, it’s Borderlands. Odds aren’t great either way.)
🔫 What You’re Signing Up For:
18+ ONLY → Expect gore, dark humor, and NSFW shenanigans.
RP Style → Semi-para to multi-para. You gotta write at least 5 detailed sentences. No lazy “lol I shoot him” crap.
Character Slots → Unlimited OCs (make as many dysfunctional lunatics as you want). Up to 6 canon slots (audition required because we don’t want a Claptrap that sucks).

From its beginning, Algaro has been shaped by a relentless ideological war between magic vs. technology. The superstitious mages of Galdrend revere the gift of magic bestowed by the gods, Rimalhia discards its destructive nature and instead places its trust in mankind with technological progress, and Kazuryo, opposed to the hubris that man could warp the natural order of the world dismissed both sides. In an effort to seize the world, the mages of the Galdrian Empire unleashed a magical catastrophe called the Great Scourge which nearly shattered the world. International condemnation ensued, and magic use was heavily limited across the world.
Now, in 1527, a hundred years after the Scourge, Rimalhian industrialists formed new frontiers. Hoping to curry favor with the Kazurian Alliance to gain access to their vast navy, Rimalhia seeks to fill in the power vacuum left in the wake of the Great Scourge. The world remains devastated from the catastrophe and the Republic seeks to continue to use the event as justification for their creeping influence across the globe.
Has Algaro recovered from the scars of the Great Scourge? Or is Rimalhia just another empire that seeks to bend the world to its will?

Amissa Angelus is a post-apocalyptic roleplay taking place after most of Earth has fallen to the meddling of aliens and other-worldly beings alike and is now ruled by human and/or monster ran PMCs looking to take it back from them.
