Syncathia Academy is a play by post roleplaying server using the mutants and masterminds rolepaying system. The server takes place in the not so distant future in a timeliness where super powers exist. The setting primarily takes place around DC America at a private school for supers. Think like My Hero or X-men.

Players can be heroes or villains within the city and run "event"s for each other. An over arching narrative will occasionally come into play with larger server wide events.

Have you ever wanted a superhero roleplay but every server you find has *something* you don't like about it? Maybe it was geared towards a specific franchise like Marvel, DC, or My Hero Academia and you wanted something more original. Or maybe it was a bit too "anime" for your tastes with magical girls, video game stat screens, and/or summoning supernatural spirits à la Persona or Fate. Or perhaps you enjoy those servers but just want something new. Whatever the reason, I'm sure there's something Starcoast City can offer you!

Starcoast City is a slice of life roleplaying server with the fun twist of superpowers mixed in. You can choose to play a famous, just hero who works an IT job by day but fights crime by night. Or perhaps you feel a bit more nefarious and want to play an evil villain who brings chaos to the city. If it tickles your fancy you can even play a civilian without powers like a police officer, researcher, or more! The possibilities are endless in Starcoast City!

This is an 18+ server due to the fact that we allow ERP and the discussion of sexual themes, but this is not an ERP server. Non-sexual, literate roleplay is the main focus here, but things are allowed to get spicy now and then. Sex is nice and all but building friendships, roleplaying character development, fighting crime, and getting a rival can be very rewarding too. A lot is possible in this city of heroes, villains, and science, so get creative with it!
