Astral Odyssey is a mature, text-based sci-fi roleplay server for adults, set in a custom space opera universe inspired by the 3rd part of the Nostos Trilogy.
You arrive in the Valerian Galaxy as a nobody. You've got just the gun in you side and whatever past you're running from. What you become from here is your call.
Buy a ship. Gather a crew. Take contracts that pay just enough to keep you flying. Hunt alien beasts and monsters, trade goods, explore forgotten worlds, or pick the wrong fight in the wrong bar on the wrong backwater moon. Or, if you're feeling bold, join one of 10 major Valerian factions and take part in the political games and wars that reshape the galaxy around you.
Astral Odyssey is supported by a custom RPG system designed specifically to assist roleplay. It keeps outcomes grounded and fair while also staying out of the way for the most part. Characters carry gear, manage inventories, develop skills, and unlock combat abilities over time. No one is good at everything here. Everyone brings something unique to the table. Survival in the Valerian Galaxy often depends on who you count on to watch your back.
