Do we know where we come from?

In the first eras, in the first ages, before history, there was One.

Once, we outnumbered the stars. Trillions of souls, trillions of minds, all living at peace within the Galaxy. Together, technology, life flourished. For hundreds of thousands of years advancement churned forward marvel after marvel. The cure to death, the vaccine for war. Out of this unstoppable advancement came the culmination of everything-- all pasts, all futures, all presents. The Nexus.

It was the central point of all technology, all information, and all exchange. It saw the greatest of the universe, the kindness, the altruism, the love, the peace...It also saw the worst. It watched in hopeless broken-heartedness as brother turned against brother, spilling rivers of blood across the cosmos.

It knew, that Nexus, that history was a recursion. That regardless of how many bloodied hands joined in peace, eventually, one would fall, and one would rise. One would die, and another would strike him down. Yet The Nexus did something so uniquely human... It hoped. It hoped that we would change, it hoped that we would stop ourselves.

We stopped nothing.

Like an angry god, it awoke, pouring it's laments out across the galaxy in erupting fire that burned away the threads of civilization that held strong the galactic tapestry. The Ancient's empire that had risen in hundreds of thousands of years fell silent in a single, quick pulse. Then, there were none...

What will you become over this cosmic backdrop? A simple trader, trying to survive? a cosmic freedom fighter? a murderous vigilante, trying to enforce his own justice in a lawless world? or a hero, born with a wish, trying to do right?

The multiverse is vast and beyond comprehension. There are realities that mirror one another, and universes that are so diametrically opposed that if they came into contact they would erupt in catastrophic annihilation. There could be a million Earths out there. Each a little different than the last. But there is only one Nowhere.

Buried deep in the endless universes, dimensions, and realities, lies a pocket dimension. Some call it the key stone of the multiverse. Most have never heard of it. Those who live there simply call it Nowhere. In a world called Etrenia, lies a city called Cravenrest. Travelers from across the planes came and settled. Humans, demons, angels, aliens, and countless others live here together in attempted harmony. This is where fate decided to place one of the prominent forces in the realities, Bloodmoon.

Bloodmoon exists as a University. A place where all may go to learn. It is much more than that however. The power at the heart of Bloodmoon has existed perhaps longer than the multiverse, and many have tried to come and claim it. They have all failed. However Bloodmoon has called you here to Nowhere. For what reason, even they may not know.

We are Bloodmoon University. A literate SFW roleplay server that focuses on the character, not the setting. We have created a world and universe with a rich lore that allows for your character to thrive. You can enter as a student and work your way up to faculty, get a job in the city, or even city council. You can even take part in world-shattering events. Server staff are kind, helpful, and happy to work with you on your character submission.
