A small system of planets, quaint in shape and stature, untouched by the hands of the greedy and eager. Pure and ripe. It would nest here, burrowing into the rich soil and earth. Its roots, blistering white, would spread throughout the world. This world would act as its vessel, its anchor, as it would feast upon the bits and samples of the minerals within the dark soil. In return for this, it too would give its own energy. For it was a sun, at least what was left of one, and it shared its light with the world it lived in. The trees flourished, the grass a little greener.
But as those roots dug deeper into the soil, they would soon bear their fruit.

Welcome to Empires of Origin! Based off of Steven Universe and Avatar: the Last Airbender, the Gem Empire consists of five separate nations within a federation. Each diamond has their own territory, government, and gemtypes, their mutual union held by the Treaty of Origin, a promise between them all to hold each other and themselves with dignity and respect. Alas, the diversity of their cultures and values may put some at odds with one-another, and perhaps... The very nature of bending itself drives them apart.
