After old mining towns have long since been abandoned, many cats were left over. In a western styled environment, resembling a mix of Utah, Wyoming, and Colorado, many cats have been left to form clans. From geysers to tall mountains to rushing rapids to a mysterious island far, far off the coast.. This land has many stories that can unfold, from the paranormal to great feuds and wars. And you? You could help pave a new path in these new times. Something is brewing in the skies and in the ground…

This roleplay follows the phases of the moon as a symbolic representation of how the clans are doing. During a full moon, the clans would be at their peak and doing good, in a new moon, they are in some kind of war or horrible event. The roleplay starts when the clans are just emerging from a prey scarcity that dwindled their numbers.

Two large groups of cats called Colonies in the deep alps of Russia are doing what they can to survive in the scarcity of their terrain. Tensions are there, prey is scarce, and cats are testing their limits. They must make their choices on how they should manage... Even at the cost of another’s despair.

Colonies are groups of cats, much like Tribes and Clan, expect bigger. Averagely consisting of 70-100+ cats and having a range of customs and traditions depending on region. They're far from England, some ranging from Africa to the Americas, even into Asia. Depending on region, each Colony has its own customs, traditions, and forms of leadership much like Clans do.

The Colonies used for the Long-term are Patriarchal and Monarchial, both with their own customs, beliefs, roles, and traditions. Both Colonies take place in the harsh alps of Northwest Russia, where survival is the main priority. Both Colonies neighbor each other, and the only thing keeping them at bay is that they equal in size. Any attempt in intruding each other would start a mass blood bath. They are neither alliances nor enemies but do acknowledge one another.

In the midst of all of this, a she-cat named Lake Whisper emerged. Unlike the others, she envisioned a world of unity instead of bloodshed, and spoke to those who would listen to found the group of the Lakekeepers, bringing them all sanctuary.

The new leader had an extremely controversial start, with Blossom'Star having to face new issues threatening the colony. Two legs began polluting the land and water, and when Leafbare commenced they started hunting aswell, driving the already scarce prey away. Even with the issues around, everything shifted when Blossom'Star seemed to vanish. With pressure from the clan, her deputy has finally stepped up to gain her 9 lives, though the mystery still stands...

In this server Lakekeepers are the only colony in the forest currently, with a rich history and a strong connection to their ancestors these felines are **ambitious** and **traditional** and have strict rules to follow.

But in the latest generation, two new clans arose- Kalmiaclan, the Clan near the Twolegs, and Torrentclan, those who fled from Pitstars Tyranny. This made Relations more complex, and conflict has been brewing with Pitstars frequent pushing and disputing. Will the Clans of Golden stay in peace and harmony, will conflicts develop, or will it end in disaster for all cats..? Not even starclan would know.

! Clans of Golden (CoG) is a mature 18+ Warrior Cats roleplay that allows you to explore deeper, mature topics with your characters than you could in most Roleplays. (All Mature/Dark Topics have to be properly spoilered and given a content warning in the message which includes the Topic)

Unlike most servers, you can be truly free with the creation of your character, here. Yes, there are some basic info and rules you msut follow, but otherwise, everything is free to pick and choose. Want a bloodthirsty cannibal Medicine Cat? You can. Want a Mentally ill kittypet just pushing through life? You bet thats possible. Just want to be a normal Warrior? No problem, either!
You choose the destiny of your cat.
