The year is 1880 in the Month of Ice. A civil war was declared between the Union of the North and Confederation of Serkonos after the death of the Bloody Duke Corvo Attano in 1875. The Empire has been shattered, and Emily Kaldwin, Queen of Gristol, fights desperately to hold together what pieces of her empire she has left.
Shortly after the disappearance of The Outsider from The Void, lesser beings drifting through the void would fight for dominance in the power vacuum. New cults and followings of The Void and it’s spirits emerged, one such prominent cult being the Witnesses of The Harbinger, an ancient and powerful void spirit that amassed a large following. While attempting a ritual to bring The Harbinger into our world, several other powerful void spirits would piggyback on this ritual, creating an overwhelming amount of energy and strain in the void that culminated in a large explosion of void energy, tearing rifts in the very fabric of reality between our world and the Void. Over the years, the Voidfall began to spread away from the the small swamp village it had originated in, the Void and our world slowly becoming one. The creatures and rat plague that seeped from the void caused many people to flee from their homes, but were often turned back by neighboring settlements for fear of the resurgence of the Plague.
This is a text roleplay based on the game world of Dishonored, with some elements from games such as Hunt: Showdown, Red Dead Redemption 2, and various supernatural horror/fantasy medias!
