The battle in Shinjuku was lost and society was plunged into darkness from that day on. Kenjaku came back, somehow. He took over Nobara-kuns body and he worked with Sukuna to rule and take over the world. They use the merger as a threat to keep us all in check, but that didn't stop Shoko and the rest of us from creating resistance groups to stop him. Hope isn't lost yet...I just know it!
