◈{【Story】}◈

On the frontier planet of Rubicon 3, a substance called Coral was discovered that could be used as both an energy source and a data conduit. Coral was hailed as the key to humanity's technological advancement, but instead it caused a cataclysmic event known as the Fires of Ibis, which engulfed the planet and the surrounding star system in flames and left behind a lethal contaminant. All Coral in existence was thought to have been consumed by the disaster. Fifty years later, however, signs of Coral are once again detected on Rubicon 3. Corporations flock to exploit the planet and control the Coral, heedless to the cost and harm to the inhabitants, and mercenaries follow to profit from the conflict.

The Redguns are a Balam Industries combat unit operating in the planet Rubicon 3 during the Coral War. Consisting of such forces as a stable of ACs and dozens of MTs, they are a significant presence as the military arm of one of the planet's largest factions.

They are commanded by Michigan, their "G1" and a hero of the Jupiter War. Under his belligerent leadership, the Redguns have developed a boisterous and gung-ho internal culture that has led them to possess a hard-earned reputation as a fighting force - one to rival the other major corporation competing in the race to obtain the Coral first, Arquebus, and their own AC squadron, the Vespers.

However, something stirrs in the heart of Rubicon 3, and the embers are being staked once more...
