What strikes terror into everyone's hearts differ from person to person and then their dread falls on upon a spectrum. Is it the feeling of bugs crawling across your skin? Your teeth falling out of your mouth and down the back of your throat? Or is it what stalks in the night?
Incredibly common, Nyctophobia, is an extreme and intense fear of darkness, and the unknown hiding in it. More common in children than anything but can sometimes creep up on adults as well... Fear generates the most delectable of emotions, terror, sadness, anger, all of it can come from fear... and unfortunately fear feeds what hides in the black-veiled night.
