Both Canon Masters and Servants are available to claim, and OCs are able to be made for both roles as well! On top of that, you're more than allowed to adapt characters to become Servants, if you so wish.

As for the actual writings of Holy Grail Wars? Their lore is entirely dictated by you! As more people come into the server, it opens the gates for more Wars to be created so that everyone gets a chance to write! You get to decide everything about them: time, location, if it's a classic 7 Master free for all or a 7v7 war like Apocrypha, you even get to decide what plots you want for the war that ensues. Everything about them is for the participants to decide!
